California Teas Review

According to the Tea Association of the U.S.A, Americans consumed over 3 billion gallons, in 2010, 85% of which was iced. With summer here and the temperatures rising, you will undoubtedly be looking for ways to cool off at their next family BBQ or casual get-together and I would love to introduce you to California Teas as your drink of choice!

California Teas are the unique new line of 100% all natural iced and green teas inspired by the sunny California lifestyle and the fresh-picked bounty of its orchards and farms. Lightly sweetened with pure cane sugar and full of sunny flavor, these real brewed teas are only 45 calories or less per 8 oz. serving. California Teas are made in California by Crystal Geyser®. California Teas offer a refreshing break from the overly sweet teas and sodas on the market and are a great opportunity to add a refreshing twist to any outdoor event, at work or on the go.

The teas are already gaining critical acclaim, with Original Sunshine Green Tea and Lemon Twist Iced Tea winning second place this year at the 2011 North American Tea Championship in their respective categories.

There are 7 sunny flavors of California Teas, including 2 original and 5 fruit flavored iced and green teas. The original teas have a sweet California bouquet and contain no juice. The fruit teas are blended with 10% real fruit juice for a delicious fresh-picked flavor.
  1. Original Sunshine Iced Tea(contains no juice)
  2. Original Sunshine Green Tea(contains no juice)
  3. Summer Peach Iced Tea (with 10% juice)
  4. Lemon Twist Iced Tea (with 10% juice)
  5. Strawberry Patch Iced Tea (with 10% juice)
  6. Coastal Blueberry Green Tea (with 10% juice)
  7. Apple Harvest Green Tea (with 10% juice)

My Opinion
I am always on the lookout for a refreshing drink, especially on hot summer days, like we are having right now (heat advisory all week!)! However, I don't like the large amounts of sugar, artificial colors and flavors, and other artifical ingredients in most sodas and drinks these days!

That is why I am SO HAPPY to have found out and got the privilege to try California Teas! They are seriously so light and refreshing and I feel good drinking it because they only have around 90 calories in the whole bottle and I can read and understand what each ingredient is! I love that!

I love all the flavors they offer - there is something for every taste bud! My personal favorite was the Strawberry Patch Iced Tea. It tasted SO GOOD and it had 60% of the DV for Vitamin C and only 80 calories. I just loved how refreshing it was!

I recommend California Teas for all tea lovers and for people looking for an all-natural drink this summer that is not only refreshing, but tastes good and doesn't have a lot of calories or artificial ingredients! The flavors are all unique and really good and you will definitely reach for California Teas after coming inside from the heat this summer!

Buy It: You can purchase California Teas throughout California. You can see the current stores here.
