Seagram's Escapes Review

As the summer winds down and you host that End of the Summer Party, don't forget to offer Seagram’s Escapes flavored malt beverages to your guests! They’re great on their own or mixed with spirits and other juices in drink recipes.

Introduced in 1985, Seagram's Escapes currently offers twelve varieties of malt beverage flavored coolers, including: Bahama Mama, Black Cherry Fizz, Calypso Colada, Fuzzy Navel, Jamaican Me Happy, Lime Melonade, new Mango, Margarita, Pink Punch (seasonal), new Sangria, Strawberry Daiquiri and Wild Berries. Seagram's Escapes are available in four-pack carriers, 12-pack and 24-pack cartons.

To make your party even more flavorful, mix up pitchers of two of my favorite new Seagram’s Escapes summer cocktails:

Backyard Berry Bliss

• 1 4pk of Seagram’s Escapes Wild Berries
• 2 pints of fresh/or frozen raspberries
• 2 tablespoons of sugar
• 8 oz of cranberry juice
• 1 bottle of Prosecco
• Raspberry garnish
• Pint glass

In a blender, combine raspberries, sugar and cranberry juice and mix until smooth (This can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator). In a large pitcher, combine raspberry juice mixture and Wild Berries. To serve, fill each glass half full with the berry/Wild Berries mixture and top off with Prosecco. Garnish with fresh raspberries and enjoy.

Mango Mojito

• 8 oz Seagram’s Escapes Mango
• 1 oz Rum
• Lime wedges
• Mint leaves
• Ice
• Lime wedge garnish
• Rock Glass

Combine Rum, ice and mint in a cocktail shaker and muddle the leaves. Strain into a cocktail glass, add Seagram’s Escapes Mango, filling the remainder of the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint leaves.

My Opinion
I will admit I really like fruity alcoholic drinks so when I saw Seagram's Escapes delicious flavors, I couldn't wait to try them!

My favorites were the Sangria and Strawberry Daiquiri! They tasted great alone or mixed in a recipe! I especially liked to make Strawberry Lemonade - it is so refreshing for the hot weather! You can see the recipe on the Seagram's Recipe page.

I recommend Seagram's Escapes for anyone that likes to enjoy their alcoholic drinks, are looking for refreshing drinks to serve at their end of the summer parties or are are looking for tasty drinks and tasty recipes!
