Get Your Grad a Blackberry Playbook This Year!

Do you have a close relative, sibling, child, or grandchild graduating this year and just don't know what to get them?? I have the perfect idea and I highly recommend it. It is the BlackBerry PlayBook and it would make a great gift to any graduate this year!

For hard-working grads, Research in Motion, the company behind BlackBerry, offers a complete selection of mobile tools to help them be more productive and have fun too. This season’s ultimate portable companions feature wireless music streaming, a multi-tasking tablet and numerous apps to boost productivity.

The slim, sleek and ultra-portable BlackBerry PlayBook tablet fits in a jacket pocket and is powerful enough for the next adventure – whether keeping up with post-grad coursework, a new job or busy travel schedule. Equipped with enhanced communication tools built in, including calendar, contacts and messages, grads will always be at the head of the class. The PlayBook’s high-performance multi-tasking capabilities make it easy to watch a movie, play a game, browse the web and stay on top of email all at the same time.

The PlayBook’s ever-expanding app library offers many apps perfect for busy grads like Evernote, which synchronizes notes, ideas and more from a BlackBerry to the Web or computer desktop; and Blaq for the ultimate Twitter experience. Your favorite grad can also enjoy out of this world fun on the PlayBook with Angry Birds Space and the adventurous Machinerium.

I don't own any BlackBerry products so when I had the chance to check out the PlayBook, I was really excited!

I have always heard great things about BlackBerry products and I can see why now...because I absolutely LOVE my BlackBerry PlayBook!!!

There are so many amazing features to the PlayBook it is hard to know where to start!

Let's start with the size...

It is 7 inches which makes it big enough to see what is on the screen clearly (you can always zoom in too!) but also makes it so great to hold while nursing my newborn daughter, convenient to stick in a backpack to carry easily to class for a new college freshman, or carry in a purse or bag anywhere you want to go! I love that it has all the abilities of a full size laptop without the size and bulk!

I also can not say enough about the clearness of the screen, apps, and games!! When my husband is playing car racing games, it is seriously so clear that it feels like you are on the road driving for real! The colors are extremely bright and so clear! The sound and speakers are really great too and are easy to adjust on the top of the PlayBook.

And speaking of games, the apps that they offer are really great! I have found some great games and apps and most of them are free! My husband's favorites are the car racing games like GT Racing HD and Need for Speed Undercover. My favorites games are the New York Times Crosswords and Tetris. They also offer some great kid games in case I need to keep my son happy or content sometime.

They also have some great apps. I love the tip calculator, WeatherEye and of course the Twitter and Facebook apps!

The camera works great and I have used it many times already to get pics of my daughter and son when I don't have my camera near by!

The Messages app lets you quickly and easily manage both your email and social network messages with a unified inbox. And creating, editing and formatting messages is super intuitive with new features like inline editing and the ability to use bold, underlining and italics.

The Calendar app includes a newsreel feature and a People View of your day! It makes sure you’re always equipped with up to the minute information about the people and companies you’re meeting with.

However, the best part of all, has to be the seamless multitasking that the PlayBook supplies for a busy mom like me! I LOVE how you can amp up your productivity by running apps simultaneously rather than switching between them. I can keep up my Facebook page, email, the game I am playing, and the game my husband is playing all at the same time and switch easily between all of them whenever I want!

So as you can see, the BlackBerry PlayBook is a great device for anyone that wants to multitask or needs to have the internet at your fingertips. It is so easy to carry and easy to use - it is perfect for any graduate this year! And let me tell will definitely be the top giver at the grad party if you are giving the PlayBook!

Buy It: You can purchase the BlackBerry PlayBook starting at $199 on the BlackBerry website.
