Make a Difference With Paper Cartons!

One of the reasons I really like to buy organic produce and products is that a lot of times organic and natural companies also really care about what kind of packaging they use for their products! They really care about the products they make and sell but they also care about preserving the Earth and recycling! Therefore, they choose paper packaging for a lot of their products because paper is a renewable material and is very recyclable!

When I look in my fridge, I see a lot of recyclable paper cartons and packaging including the paper cartons our organic milk comes in, the container the English Muffins are in, and the chicken broth container. However, I also see a lot of plastic packaging for my products including the plastic egg cartons and the plastic containers that my tomatoes and other vegetables come in.

I personally really like paper cartons, especially for our organic milk. I really think our milk tastes better in the paper compared to plastic containers.

I really wish they would sell more products in paper because I recently learned about all the awesome benefits of paper packaging from

One of things I love about paper packaging and cartons is that you are actually purchasing 94% product and only 6% package when you choose a product in a carton! I hate when you open a box or product and it is all air or carton and not a lot of product! I always feel so ripped off!

Paper cartons are also lightweight and are recyclable where facilities exist. The paper fiber contained in cartons is very valuable and can be used to make products such as tissue, office paper, wall boards and other building materials that you use everyday in your house! To learn if your community accepts cartons for recycling, please visit or check with your local recycling program.

Now that I know so much more about paper cartons and how they are so great not only for preserving the taste and quality of our food, but also for preserving this beautiful Earth we live on, I will be on the lookout for more products in paper and I will definitely be choosing paper cartons over plastic!
