Create A New Chip Flavor For Lays! & Giveaway

Have you ever been eating a certain food item and knew you could come up with a better flavor? As a mother, I am always trying to satisfy a household of varying (and often demanding) taste buds. A pinch of this and a little of that and you know just how to keep the family happy and coming back for more!

Do you have to come up with new flavors for your family?

Imagine getting 1 million dollars for something you already do every day?

Well, now you can because Lay’s just launched its “Do Us A Flavor” contest - a nationwide search for the next great potato chip flavor. Fans across the U.S. are invited to submit their potato chip flavor ideas for the chance to win $1 million in grand prize money or one percent of their flavor’s 2013 net sales (whichever is higher). From now until Oct. 6, consumers can share their flavor inspirations on the Lay’s Facebook page, with the winning flavor being revealed in 2013, the year Lay’s – America’s most-loved potato chip brand – celebrates its 75-year anniversary.
From the UK to Australia, the “Do Us A Flavor” contest has created some crazy creations, including Walkie Talkie Chicken, Chilli & Chocolate, Late Night Kebob and even Cajun Squirrel. Yes…Cajun Squirrel.

And don't forget to enter the giveaway below to win some of Lay's classic flavors to inspire your own unique submissions!

Win It: Lays is generously offering (3) Lay’s bags: (Cheddar & Sour Cream, Classic BLT, Sweet Onion to a lucky winner)
