Give Out Milk This Halloween, Not Candy!

Happy Halloween!!!

Kids just love Halloween, but every year parents face a nutritional challenge…candy, candy and more candy. One way to get a sweet but nutritious treat into the hands of little ghouls and goblins is by giving them single serving cartons of shelf safe flavored milk.

It’s real Grade A milk, packaged in milk boxes that don’t need refrigeration until they are opened (like juice boxes). Available in chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and white chocolate, kids love it, and an 8 oz. carton provides 9 grams of protein and 15 other essential vitamins and minerals.

And…it turns out, Chocolate Milk is the Official Beverage of Halloween. So parents can feel good about dropping one of these into a trick-or-treat bag!

Yes, it isn't it awesome! Now you can stick cartons of milk into your diaper bag, lunch box, or in the car so you don't have to worry about keeping them cold and you can drink them anywhere, anytime!

So how does it work? Shelf safe milk is Grade A fluid milk that requires no refrigeration until the package is opened, thanks to ultra pasteurization and special Tetra Pak cartons that preserve all the wholesome goodness of milk. Now kids can get the vitamins and nutrients of milk anytime, anywhere.

And I love that they also offer organic milk in these Tetra Pak! My son has absolutely LOVED drinking milk from a straw in his very own milk container and I feel great knowing he is still drinking organic milk!

My son doesn't eat candy, so I definitely know what he will be having this Halloween - Organic milk in a Tetra Pak! You can make the switch too (and your dentist will thank you!) :)

Here is my son LOVIN' his Organic Milk in a Tetra Pak while rocking his Halloween Costume!

Buy It: You can purchase Shelf Safe Milk at your local grocery store on the SHELF!

I so wish I would have stumbled upon this post earlier! We don't get many trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood, so I'm always on the lookout for something special to give to them.

I'll have to keep this idea in my pocket for next year. This year I have a 4 month old at home and I was lucky not to eat all of the Halloween candy before Oct 31st (it's amazing how many fun sized candy bars you can consume during those 2AM feedings).
