"Last Man Standing" Season Premiere

Have you watched the funny show “Last Man Standing” yet? I recently got to watch two new episodes from the second season and I absolutely loved seeing Tim Allen in another sitcom! (I loved Home Improvement!)

The ABC show starring Tim Allen is moving to Friday nights starting tomorrow, Friday, November 2nd at 8/7c.

The premiere airs this Friday (prior to Election Day) and in that spirit the producers have the characters engage in the same spirited debate taking place at kitchen tables across the country: Obama or Romney? Like the great family comedies of the past, from “All in the Family” to “Roseanne,” the show aims to be topical, relatable and real, as humorous as it is provocative.

In another episode entitled “Circle of Life,” avid hunter Mike (Tim Allen) gives his grandson Boyd an eye-opening education about where his food really comes from. Will this information result in a rejection of eating meat, as Boyd’s vegetarian father (Jordan Masterson) hopes? Or will Mike manage to remake his grandson in his own unabashedly meat-loving image?

These are the fertile grounds for comedy and discussion about child rearing that the show is now mining, and as executive producer Tim Doyle explains, “the show has adopted an attitude that dealing with serious, real life issues can result in a smarter, more relatable sitcom. It's a family show in the truest sense -- a show about a recognizable American family.”

Make sure to catch the "Last Man Standing" premiere tomorrow on ABC at 8/7c and add some laughs to your day after a long week!

I absolutely love this show. I watched the premier last night, and the laughter and smiles were non-stop. I've always adored Tim Allen, especially during his Home Improvement days. That was one of my favorite shows, and I'm glad to see that he is back, bringing us quality television once again. And who can forget Nancy Travis? She first caught my attention in those two adorable movies, Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady. It's refreshing to know that we can look forward to sharing some laugh out loud moments on Friday night television. Thanks ABC, Tim, Nancy, and the rest of the cast and crew! I look forward to the rest of the season!

I absolutely loved this show last season, and they definitely made sure to keep up the great comedy on the season premiere this episode. However, I was pretty upset that they changed the actor of the older daughter. I really loved the last one, and I am not so sure about the new daughter. I am happy that my Hopper from DISH automatically records my primetime shows on the four major networks with the PrimeTime Anytime feature. I completely forgot the season premieres were on this week, so I spaced out setting up the recordings. When I got home from my shift at DISH, I watched Malibu Country and Last Man Standing. I am excited to have something to watch on my Friday nights that will make me laugh.
