The Skinny Vine Wines

If you read this blog regularly, you know I have a love for wine! :) My husband and I love a glass (or two!) after a long day, to celebrate special occasions, and pretty much anytime we get a hankering! :)

However, we are both trying to lose a little weight so we are trying to cut out all drinks and food at night where we usually indulge and snack quite heavily! Food is sometimes our balm for a bad or stressful day and we are trying to change that!

But when I saw the newly-launched low-calorie wine, The Skinny Vine. I saw a light at the end of the tunnel and a way to drink my favorite wine while staying on my diet!

This wine makes it easy for wine drinkers to stick to a low-calorie lifestyle with a little indulgence. The wines have less than 95 calories per five ounce serving – 25-35% fewer calories than traditional wine – while offering the taste and quality of traditional full-calorie wines.

The Skinny Vine wines, designed to appeal to the growing number of health-conscious women and men, are sourced from high quality California grapes. The line offers three popular varietals: Slim Chardonnay, Mini Moscato and Thin Zin, at a suggested retail price of $11 a bottle. Each varietal delivers the full spectrum of fruit intensity and complexity, while managing alcohol content to create a full-flavored, low calorie wine.

The fruit forward Skinny Vine Mini Moscato tastes of juicy peach, apple, pear, and honeysuckle while the The Skinny Vine Slim Chardonnay is perfect for any occasion with its subtle ripe apricot and honey citrus aroma and vanilla and oak spice finish. The Skinny Vine Thin Zin has a bright and airy attitude that comes from its luscious blend of ripe berries, honeydew, and crisp citrus flavors plus a hint of clove.

This is the latest new product from Treasury Wine Estates, which has been vigorously innovating in recent years, successfully launching new wines including: Be., Emma Pearl, Sledgehammer, and Beringer Red Moscato.

This wine tasted just as good as my other favorite wines, but it might have tasted just a tad bit better because I knew that it didn't have as many calories and I could have a nice big glass without feeling (too!) guilty! I love the three varieties they offer (three of my favorite!) and the names are cute too!

If you are trying to lose weight and keep that New Year's Resolution, don't worry you don't have to completely cut out your favorite wines: just try out The Skinny Vine wines and give yourself a special treat once in awhile without the guilt!

Buy It: You can purchase The Skinny Vine wines online at as well as at a growing number of retail stores across the country.
