If you are looking for the perfect wine to serve for your grad party, summer gathering, wedding or for your Father this Father's Day, I have the perfect selections for your from Banfi wines!

If you are planning your wedding and want to toast to your new spouse, try adding the Rosa Regale sparkling red wine from Italy to your toasting glasses. It’s made from Brachetto d’Acqui, the same wine Cleopatra used to woo her lovers.

The ROSA REGALE is fermented with brief contact with the skins, filtration and storage at 32°F, refermentation in stainless-steel vats, immediately followed by bottling. It has a Festive cranberry color and has an aromatic bouquet with hints of raspberries, strawberries and rose petals.

It tastes of fresh raspberries, with crisp acidity, enticing the palate with an initial softness, graduating to a clean and dry finish. It is perfect for any occasion but it is a unique and festive sparkling wine, seductive aperitif, and elegant dessert wine. Pairs well with seafood, cheeses, spicy fare and chocolate. Serve chilled.

If you are looking for the perfect gift for the Dad in your life or even for your college grad, try the Castello Banfi “Cum Laude” ($37). Could there be a better name for graduating students? And it’s a high-end “Super Tuscan” that will knock the socks off of any dad who appreciates red wine.

The Castello Banfi is a Estate Bottled Tuscany (Italy) made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Syrah grapes.

Each grape is individually vinified and aged for 6-8 months in French oak barriques. Then the cuvée is made and aged for an additional 6-8 months. At least 6 months of bottle-rest follows. Unfiltered to preserve its unique character.

It has a ruby red, intense and very deep color with a full bouquet with aromas of blackberries and plums, complemented by licorice, black olives, and pipe-tobacco notes. It has a full-bodied taste, with supple tannins and is perfect with bean soups, grilled meat and aged cheese!

And if you are just looking for the perfect wine to serve your summer grill out, family reunion, or summer gathering with family and friends, try out Riunite Lambrusco ($7), Summer, Bolla Soave ($11) and Fontana Candida Frascati ($9).

The Riunite Lambrusco is my favorite! I am a huge fan of Lambrusco and the Riunite did not disappoint! It is a “frizzante” red wine that’s enjoyed chilled and is perfect for barbecue, pizza, and spicy foods.

The Riunite Lambrusco is made by pressing and brief maceration of select grapes and followed by the fermentation of the must at controlled temperature. A second fermentation, using the Charmat method, imparts the character-istic sparkling note.

It has a lively red with violet reflections color with a fruity, soft and harmonious bouquet. I love the Light, well-balanced taste which makes it perfect for every occasion. Enjoyable and straight forward, its easy drinkability make it a favorite with a wide variety of foods, including spicy fare.

Also for Summer, Bolla Soave ($11)and Fontana Candida Frascati ($9), both of which are great alternatives to Pinot Grigio and delicious with fish, chicken, salads, cured meats.

The FONTANA CANDIDA is made from grapes harvested between September and October, are immediately taken to the cellars, vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel and gently pressed. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel and then bottled under nitrogen to protect its freshness and lush fruit flavors.

It has a pale straw color with a delicate fragrance of wild flowers and golden delicious apples bouquet. The taste is dry, soft and fruit forward, with a lively taste that offers notes of peach and almonds. It is ideal as an aperitif or with salads, pasta, veal, chicken and seafood.

The Bolla Soave 883 Selection is made from hand-harvested grapes that are crushed and gently pressed followed by a long, cold maceration into the spring. The addition of a small amount of partially dried grapes endow it with aromatic complexity and fullness. Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel and the wine remains on the lees as long as possible before bottling.

It has Pale straw color with a bouquet of intense fragrance of flowers and pear. It has a Medium-bodied taste that is harmonious and balanced with hints of lemon and acacia honey. Savor with enticing dishes like antipasto, risottos, seafood and pizza.

So as you can see, you can pick the perfect glass of wine to serve any of your guests this matter what the occasion!
