Grill This Summer with Laura's Lean Beef!

A product was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

One of my favorite things about summer is the smell and taste of grilling and grilled food! I love pretty much everything on the grill: chicken, potatoes, veggies, salmon, brats and, most of all, hamburgers! It is a fun, easy and tasty meal to make that the whole family loves and we try to grill out at least once a week in our house!

Summer grilling is something many people love, but some find it hard to eat healthy and still enjoy their favorite foods. This summer, consider these great tips from Laura's Lean Beef, the beef of choice this summer for our family grilling! The meat is lean, tasty and cooks up quickly!

Keep these tips in mind when crafting your burger:

  • Lean beef, such as Laura’s Lean Beef, can cook up to 1/3 less time than regular beef since it has less fat.
  • Avoid excessive amounts of sodium by using healthy seasonings, such as minced onion.
  • Use whole-grain bread, as whole-grains are absorbed slower by the body and help you to eat less, yet feel full.
We choose Laura's Lean Beef this summer for our grill because in a world which has seen the emergence of highly processed foods, “factory farms” and junk food, they live and work guided by an alternate set of principles:

All natural - They believe that it is best to raise cattle in the way that nature intended.
No antibiotics - It's not part of nature's plan to use antibiotics to speed growth and counter overcrowded feedlot conditions.
No added growth hormones - They don't believe in using hormones to speed the growth of their cattle.
Leaner is healthier - They raise leaner breeds of cattle like Limousin and Charolais that produce beef naturally lower in fat.
Vegetarian fed - Cattle live in pastures and graze on natural grasses and grains.
Sustainable agriculture - They believe in the responsible stewardship of land and animals.
Humane treatment - All their farmers sign on to strict standards for the raising and treatment of cattle.

Plus, Laura's Lean Beef is so easy to find right at my local Target and it is affordable!
