Daddy's Little Girl

One of my favorite books to read to my children, especially my son, is the family favorite book, Love You Forever book. I tear up every time I read it to my son and I sing the song in the book to my children every night before bed! My mom loved reading this book and I bet every mother that has read it to their child has a special place in their heart for this book!

I recently found a similar book, Daddy’s Little Girl by Peter Wilson. Daddy’s Little Girl is a heartwarming tale of a father's love and growing relationship with his daughter as she transitions from infancy to maturity. This book is a beautifully rhyming book that gives the view of a Father's relationship with his daughter as she grows up (opposed to the mom to the son in Love You Forever).

I absolutely LOVE this book and I cannot wait to give it to my husband and daughter for Christmas and watch for many years as they read it together. I know my husband will have the same connection to this book that I do to Love You Forever and I know my daughter will love hearing this book for years to come! Hopefully someday she will give this book to her husband to read to her daughter to someday because it meant so much to her growing up!

I think reading books to our children is such an important part of a day but I love even more when they have such a great story line with such meaning! The rhyming is so easy to listen to and read and Peter Wilson has done an AMAZING job with this book!
