A book was given for review for my honest opinion. No other compensation was given.

About the books:

Bestselling author Max Lucado has teamed up with six authors to write the Pocket Prayers series for those in need of peace, renewal, rest, faith, hope, joy, direction, serenity, and courage.

Short, simple prayers are very effective, which is why each book in the series contains forty guided prayers and complementary scriptures for any situation, including for:

-Moms (written with daughter Andrea Lucado)
-Grads (written with daughter Andrea Lucado)
-Dads (written with Mark Mynheir)
-Military Life (written with Mark Mynheir)
-Teachers (written with blogger Jennifer Hale)
-Friends (written with Betsy St. Amant)

About the author:

More than 120 million readers have found inspiration and encouragement in the writings of Max Lucado. He lives with his wife, Denalyn, and their mischievous mutt, Andy, in San Antonio, Texas, where he serves the people of Oak Hills Church.

My Opinion

I am such a fan of these little Pocket Prayers books! They have one perfect for every occasion and every recipient on your gift list this year! Each one contains great prayers to help the recipient of each book and it is nice and small so it is easy to carry and can be stored easily.

The Pocket Prayers for Moms is going to my sister who is a new Mom and could really use this book for Moms as she begins this motherhood journey! It makes a perfect gift for her first Mother's day!

The Pocket Prayers for Dad will go to my brother-in-law this Father's Day because he is a new dad. It will also really help him as he starts his fatherhood journey.

The Pocket Prayers for Grads will go to my sister's boyfriend as he graduates from college this June. It will make a great gift for him as he starts his college journey and faces many challenges ahead. It will keep him focused on God as he faces many challenges and trials.

The Pocket Prayers for Military Life is a great gift idea to include in a care package being sent to soldiers overseas. They will love having something to read each day that keeps them close to God and reminds them that God is always with them through all the hard, lonely days.

The Pocket Prayers for Teachers will be going to my son's Kindergarten teacher at the close of this year to thank her for all her hard work and to help her get through the many years ahead of teaching children.

And the Pocket Prayers for Friends I am keeping to give to a close friend who may be struggling with life, who needs to be reminded that they have friends in me and in God and need to be uplifted each day as they read these prayers.

I love that these prayer books have so many great themes that makes these prayers helpful for different people and can really be a blessing to the recipients. They will feel loved that you thought of them and they will feel blessed every day as they read the prayers included in each book! There is a Pocket Prayers book for every occasion, holiday and gifting occasion!
